3.1.2 Add Device

The APP requires the S/N (Serial Number) to add a device.
Users can manually enter the S/N code on the device body or scan the barcode/QR code on the device body through the APP.

1. S/N：
Manually fill in the 17-digit alphanumeric combination of the S/N code on the device body.
2. Scan：
An alternative to manually entering the S/N code. The scanning result is a 17-digit alphanumeric combination.
3. Cloud Management:
This method is used by default. It applies only to wireless AP devices. Cloud management is cloud AC management. You can directly set SSID, password and other functions on the APP.
4.Local AC Management:
Applicable only to wireless AP devices. There are gateways and AP devices locally. The gateway AC function manages SSID and password settings, etc., which cannot be modified on the APP.
5. Automatic Discovery:
Devices not added in the local area network need to be discovered through locally added devices. Automatic discovery takes a relatively long time or may not discover all devices due to local network settings.
6. Finish:
After confirming the added devices, click Finish to complete the new project settings. If there are no devices in the current project, you can also click Finish to skip adding devices.
