3.2 AP Mode

AP Mode

Select the working mode for your AP (“Fit AP”) mode is the default mode.DHCP service cannot be enabled in this mode.

1. Fit AP Mode (Default Mode): The AP is connected to your router and will act as a wireless access point. For better performance and control options, you can connect to an AC controller. For further details, please refer to the AC wireless management indtructions of the gateway.

2. Select the network protocol: Dynamic IP (DHCP) or static IP. Both of these methods will modify the default IP address of the AP.（192.168.2.1）.

3. WAN Configuration: Optionally set up DNS.

4.Wireless Configuration: Modify the SSID name and encryption mode, and jump to the “Wireless Settings” to modify the detailed configuration.

5. Confirm that the configuration is complete.

Remark: Once the default IP of the AP has been changed, you will need to log-in with the newly assigned IP. In dynamic IP mode, the IP address of the MAC terminal can be viewed through the DHCP list of the upper layer route.（74:96:37: ** : ** : ** ）In static IP mode, you can log in and set an IP address.
