6.4.3 Firewall

Firewall-Zone Settings

This area can set up the routing basic defense rules

• Enable SYN-flood defense: Defense against SYN-flood-type attacks

• Discard Invalid Packets: Do not process invalid data traffic

• Software Flow Acceleration: Routing NAT acceleration based on the software level

Firewall-Port Forwarding

This area can be set to access from the external IP and port to a device or function within the LAN

• Name: The name of the forwarding rule

• Matching Rule: The network protocol of this rule is forwarded from an interface of the router to the destination device through that port

• Action: the address and port number of the target device being forwarded

• Enable: whether the rule is effective

• Add: Add a new forwarding rule

Filter Rules

This area can set up consent or rejection to of a device function in the LAN from the public network IP and port

• Name: The name of the filtering rule

• Matching rule: The network protocol of this rule agrees or refuses to discard an interface forwarded from the router to the destination device through that port

• Action: The address and port number of the target device being forwarded

• Enable: Whether the rule is effective

• Add: Add a new filtering rule
