1.runk Group Setting
Port convergence (trunk) is a way to bundle a set of physical interfaces together as a logical interface to increase bandwidth and reliability. The convergence port configuration is the same.
This can be achieved by configuration link aggregation with the following requirements:
When the reliability of two switch devices through one link does not meet the requirements.
Click on the navigation bar: Configure- -> Trunk Group Setting
Explain:
Group ID: converges on the group ID.
The ports belong to the physical port of the aggregation group
Member ports that belong to the same cluster group must have a consistent configuration.
Note: trunk 1 supports 14 ports, trunk 2 supports 58 ports, and trunk3 (10 port switch) supports 9~10 ports
2.Instance
Set up the switch port aggregation function, and the test topology is shown in the following figure.
1、Set up ports 7,8 of switch 1, adaptive.
2、To facilitate testing, port 7,8 bandwidth was set to 10240 Kbps
3、Set ports 7 and 8 as aggregate gates. Another switch is also set up.
4、 Connect the test equipment by the test topology.
5、Open the test software to stream the test, first connect the dual network cable to view the rate, disconnect one of the network cable to view the rate change, and then connect the disconnected network cable to view the rate change. The results are shown in the following figures.
6、According to the test, when setting the bandwidth of 10Mbps in a single port, the port convergence function is used to improve the network reliability and increase the bandwidth.
